The Tilt and Lairig

The Lairig Ghru is Scotland's most famous mountain pass. Walking it in one day is a challenge, compounded by the logistics of the walk ending miles away from you car. That's why we're going to start in Blair Atholl! Both Blair Atholl and Aviemore and well connected to public transport. We'll meet on Saturday morning and hike up Glen Tilt. It's a long but straightforward hike to reach our half way (ish) point where we'll camp before setting off through the Lairig Ghru on Sunday. Once in Aviemore you can choose to be picked up, or get the bus/train back to wherever you need to go.
