The Lairig Ghru

The Lairig Ghru is Scotland's most famous mountain pass. Walking it in one day is a challenge, compounded by the logistics of the walk ending a day's walk away from you car. We've got you covered! From our meeting point in Aviemore, you'll be taxi'd to the Linn o' Dee where the walk begins. We'll journey past mountains, rivers and bothies. Your guide has studied this landscape and will talk to you about your physical surroundings throughout the day. We will also meet a guest speaker who has extensive knowledge of the area. They will join us to do a walk and talk about the human history and current issues of the area.
