The Craig Munros

Maoll Lunndaidh, Sgurr a'Chaorachain and Sgurr Choinnich are tough Munros. They're remote and often done as two very long days. A bike can help though! You'll need a good level of bike fitness (or an ebike) for the ride in. It's not very steep but it's sustained so is quite hard work but it's worth it in the end. We'll leave our bikes and hike out to Maoll Lunndaidh before dropping down and ascending the Sgurrs. These are impressive hills and have brilliant views in all directions. The ridge looks dramatic but is a simple walk. When we return to our bikes we can freewheel (almost) all the way back to the cars. The vehicle track is quite rough so the cycle is best suited to a mountain bike. If you're a confident rider and don't mind a bit of rattling then a hybrid or gravel bike will also manage.
