The Braeriach Traverse

The Braeriach Traverse in a day is huge. Starting from the Sugar Bowl, the route goes through the Chalamain Gap before crossing the Lairig Ghru and ascending Braeriach. It will be close to lunch time by the time we reach the summit. From here, the walk across Sgor an Lochain Uaine and Cairn Toul follows the high point of the vast plateau before nipping up The Devil's Point. FRom he we descend to the final obstacle of the day - The Lairig Ghru. A long walk back to civilisation.
