About the event

Stob a'Choire Odhair has the finest views of Rannoch Moor of any mountain. These mountains are accessed from Victoria Bridge on the West Highland Way, initially on a good path, soon giving way to a steep climb into the mountains. We summit to stunning views before heading down to the low point between the Munros and ascending via the Aonach Eagach. This name can put people off but it literally just means "notched ridge" and although it is very much a ridge with some mild exposure, it provides nowhere near the technical challenge of its Glen Coe name sake. This makes it perfect for those looking to get started ridge walking.

Rough Route Stats Distance: 18km Ascent: 1200m

We've graded this adventure as blue because the challenging parts of this walk are quite short. The descent can be tough in the wet.
