Biking into Derry Lodge is a speedy approach to these hills. From here it's a big day in the hills. This is a incredibly varied route showing off the magnificence of the Cairngorms - ridgelines, boulderfields, plateaus and glens.

We've graded this route red because it's a huge day out on some rough terrain. You'll need a good level of fitness to complete the day.

Important note: For all of our bike trips, you are responsible for ensuring that your bike is in safe working order. The best way to do this is by getting it serviced at a local bike shop.
