We've partnered with Rosie Baxendine Bikepacking Guide to bring this adventure back for summer 2026.
Cape Wrath is the most northwesterly point on the mainland and is a truly incredible place. Most visitors take the short ferry over to be met by a minibus that takes them to the famous lighthouse and cafe for a few hours. Few people stay over and experience a night in the wild north west. We'll load our bikes onto the small ferry and cycle the 15km on a "road" to reach the lighthouse and cafe. Here, we'll spend the night. Setting an alarm for dark to see the lighthouse in operation really adds to an already unique experience. On the day with the best weather, we'll make a detour to a beautiful beach.
