Beinn a' Bhuird & Ben Avon

Beinn a'Bhuird and Ben Avon are tough Munros. They're remote and often done as two very long days. A bike can help though! You'll need a good level of bike fitness (or an ebike) for the ride in. We'll ride at least 7km on estate tracks before leaving our bikes and continuing on foot. Depending of the bikes/skills/desire of the group, we may ride further. Beyond this point there may be a bit of pushing but it is possible to ride 13km saving a lot of time and effort on the return leg!

The route is long but the area is steeped in climbing history, with incredible wildlife and geomorphology so there will be plenty to keep everyone interested! We'll ascend on foot to a point known as "The Sneck". From here, it's an out and back to each summit. Beinn a'Bhuird must be the biggest summit plateau in Scotland.…
